The name, Jack definitely rings a bell across Nigeria and beyond. In fact he is a Pan-Africanist, American and France with multi-talented football talents. He is a Nollywood star and music entertainer, and philanthropist. Jack unveiled his real name mystery, deadlocks and untold stories. As popular as Jack, not many people knew that the name is just his stage name while his real name at birth is Jean Chisom Ebubedike. Jack known as Jean Francois Mendy is a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He has three (3) nationalities. America, France and Nigeria. He was born to French father while his mother is from Imo state of Nigeria. He was born in Agege, Lagos state of Nigeria, to a French father. Jean is a professional left footed international footballer.
His former football team was SC Moulin’s les Metz, and Division 2. Jack has played for the Nigeria Pepsi Football Academy, Lagos professional, 2006-2008, Patron football club Uba Umuaka, Owerri, Imo state. 2nd term professional, 2010-2014. He also played for ESAP France division 2, professional 2014-2017 SCMoulin’s les Metz, a division 2 club in France (professional, 2019-2020) After many football career Jack set football academy where he train young stars into big time footballers. His little experience coaching Academy he has able to take some players abroad for professional football.
Mr. Jean a.k.a Jack is a multi-talented award winner, with his first award in England, Liverpool, through Everton football club in the years, 2010, 2011 and 2012, he also came out as the best player as a foreigner in the whole of Uk. He was recognized for the sport personality of the year twice through the Governor of Akwa Ibom state and Governor of Lagos state and the NFF Nigeria Football Federation on the 14th of November 2020 and NFF on the 22nd December 2020. Jack is also into charitable organization, humanitarian service to humanity. He is a philanthropist who is passionate about lending his quota’ to people at the grass- root level who maybe living below 1$ per day. This led him to be touching lives by starting a foundation NGO designed to meet the basic needs of the people at the grass-root, needy, less privileges in the society. As a philanthropist, he has helped stop a man from going blind and committing suicide through a sponsored healthcare service. The two gave birth to set of twins, both boys and both of them are residing in America, he have no intention to relocate them to Nigeria. He said Nigeria cost of living is not favourable to him and his family and that is why he will not allow them to stay in Nigeria.
