comfort. Today I celebrate a truly remarkable woman and wife of Johnson Obeya
whose Kindness, humility, I received with profound sadness, the news of the
passing away of the wife of Johnson Obeya.
The death of Miss Mary Onyemowo Johnson Obeya, cuts through the synagogue
church of all Nations and Lagos state like a cold harmattan wind. The badagry
community of Lagos, which once echoed with her authority and wisdom, now
fall silent in tribute Mrs. Mary Onyemowo Johnson Obeya has transitioned to
meet our Creator, Almighty God. Mrs. Mary has fallen from her hand. The house
of Johnson Obeya is empty and vacant.
The livings are left to ponder. There is a strong sobering equality in death. It does
not ask for your curriculum vitae. It does not check your bank balance or count
your titles and children. It simply arrives, for Mrs. Mary Onyemowo Johnson
Obeya. It came at a time when her influence was at its peak. When the husband
and children needed her most. The life is loaned for a season. The only thing that
will survive the grave is content of your character and the impact of your actions
on others and your family. Let us learn from her transition.
When the husband remembers her transition, Let it be Loved and submission
and obedient.
When the family remembers her, let them remember a woman who
was fair and present. My dear reader whether you are personality or anybody or
cleaner ask yourself to-day. If I were called home this hour, what would my life
have said? Death is not the enemy.
Gone too soon, but never gone from us, your legacy is the women and men, boys
and girls you raised. We will carry your name with pride. Rest well our dear
sister and wife. Until we meet again, we shall walk by side.

David Onyeboju Johnson Obeya, a student of Lagos state university (LASU) Ojo
Lagos, Mathew Onyelebodu Johnson Obeya , Noah Ihotuodu Johnson Obeya and
master Joseph Oche Johnson Obeya.
Say we will not die young.
Very soon the gavel will fall for you too but God
forbide it. And when it does, may it be said that you lived not for the applause of
women and men, but for the approval of God. Rest in peace, Mrs. Mary
Onyemowo Johnson Obeya and thank you for the love you had for your husband
