SENIOR CITIZEN PETITIONS, OTEGA, PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO IDIMU LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN OVER ALLEGED THREATS TO LIFE, MALICIOUS DAMAGED, INTIMIDATION, VIOLATION OF COURT ORDER.

SENIOR CITIZEN PETITIONS, OTEGA, PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO IDIMU LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN OVER ALLEGED THREATS TO LIFE, MALICIOUS DAMAGED, INTIMIDATION, VIOLATION OF COURT ORDER.

A Lagos based Businessman and Retired Police Officer CSP Ohiomoba Ekeinde (Rtd) has petitioned the Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 2 Command, Lagos over what he described as threats to his life, malicious damaged and intimidation. The petition, dated 12th February, 2026 was addressed to Assistant Inspector General of Zone 2 Command Lagos.

Mr. Tega Jibromah, Personal Assistant to Idimu Local Government Alimosho, Lagos is alleged suspect. According to the petition against Mr. Tega Jibromah, who became a tenant, in one of the Three Bedroom Flat 1st Floor, Front Flat at No 3, Famakin Street, Idimu, Alimosho Local Government, Lagos a property belonging to CSP Ohiomaba Ekeinde, a former DPO Igando Police Divisional Headquarters, Lagos. Mr. Tega Jibromah paid initial rent of Three Hundred Thousand Naira only (N300,000.00) from 1st October, 2015 to 30th September, 2017.

Thereafter, Mr. Jibromah refused to pay his rent and claimant filed an action in suit no MIK/4115/2018 OHIOMOBA EKEINDE Vs. TEGA JIBROMAH and the judgement was delivered against him on 5th August, 2019 by her Honour Sule Amzat (Mrs) now Hon. Justice Sule-Amzat to deliver up possession on 30th November, 2019 and to pay his rent from 1st October, 2017 until he delivers up possession.

Tega Jibromah did not vacate the premises until 30th June, 2021 and he owes Three (3) Years and Six Months rent from 1st October, 2017 to 30th June, 2021 being One Million and Fifty Thousand Naira only (N1,050,000.00). Throughout the period of his tenancy in the premises he did not pay electricity bill now totaling N432,141.21 up to June, 2021. The petition stated that before Tega Jibromah vacated the premises, he deliberately damaged the main entrance door valued at Three Hundred Thousand Naira only (N300,000.00).

The petition was initially sent to Idimu Divisional Headquarter, Lagos. It was not properly investigated because of compromise. The petitioner gave the summary and liabilities as follows:
1) Unpaid rent for 3½ years (N1,050,000.00).
2) Unpaid electricity bills from 1/10/2015 to 30/06/2021 (N432,141.21).
3) Damaged entrance door (N300,000.00).
TOTAL N1,782,141.21

The attach photographs of damaged door and photocopies of tenancy agreement and judgement. The Police Investigating Officer (IPO) has sent invitation letter to Tega Jibromah the alleged suspect. He reported to Zone 2 Command X Squad Team and told the IPO that the case is a civil matter. The radical Tega has refused to face the complainant and shunned the Police Officers. He has since being boasting and gallivanting about Lagos saying that Police cannot detain him. He threatened the complainant and he vowed to deal with him he also said that he is not going to pay him his money.

The Retired Senior Police Officer could not believe that a man is threatening his life and the Police Force which he served for 35 years could not recover his money or charge Tega Jibromah to court. He is appealing to Assistant Inspector General of Police to act promptly and Justice will be done. At the time of going to Press, Tega Jibromah has not responded at Zone 2 Command showing his stubbornness as Urhobo man.
